objects among other objects

objects amongst other objects is a nomadic curatorial index mapping other and othered notions of the object. the platform commissions editorial, pedagogical, and artistic contributions from artists, scholars, and designers to address the myriad ways in which objects occupy agency: how they become animate, speak, and rebel. drawing upon discourses ranging from animism, spirituality, and critical race theory to politics, urbanism, and technology studies, other objects seeks to address the interplay between what marx considered the "material relations between people and the social relations between things" and what frantz fanon identified as the condition of finding oneself "an object among other objects."
